There is something so sentimental about taking photos on the campus where you made so many memories. Whether that’s late night studying, going out partying, the many friendships, and so much growth over four years. Here is how to achieve The Perfect New Hampshire Graduation Session!
Each New Hampshire campus offers its own unique atmosphere:
Photographing sessions on campus allows graduates to tell their story through locations that truly matter to them and display that care and growth through their portraits.

The best graduation sessions start with thoughtful planning. For each of my sessions, we focused on three things:
Walking through campus together allowed us to naturally stop at favorite spots: academic buildings, open quads, and hidden corners that felt personal to each of my graduates. We always meet beforehand on a call to decide where you would like your session to go, and we always create a vision together, this makes my graduates more comfortable and ready to be themselves in front of my lens!

Outfits can completely change the feel of a session. I always recommend bringing a mix of looks:
Neutral tones and soft colors photograph beautifully against New Hampshire’s spring greenery and historic campus architecture. Or maybe you want to wear once of your school colors, that will always look great for your New Hampshire Graduation Session!

Timing will make a huge difference in your NH graduation photos.
We planned this session just before sunset or a couple hours after sunrise, where golden hour light makes you as a subject pop and adds depth to every image. On campuses like UNH, Plymouth State, New England College, and Keene State, the evening light filters through trees and buildings in a way that creates soft, glowing portraits without harsh shadows.
It’s hands-down the best time for timeless and flattering images!

Graduation marks the transition between college life and everything that comes in your adult life. These photos become more than announcements, they become a keepsake to a time in your life you wont get back.
Years from now, you’ll remember the late night campus walks, the friendships along the way, the hardwork that has been done, and the excitement you felt for what was next in life! That’s why documenting this milestone intentionally matters.

If you’re graduating from:
Spring and early summer dates fill quickly for graduation sessions across New Hampshire.
I help every graduate plan their session from start to finish: choosing locations on campus, planning outfits, and timing everything for the best light so the experience feels easy and fun.
