Prescott Park is a small stroll from downtown, this waterfront and garden park is a favorite for senior portraits in NH. This spot is known for its vibrant gardens in the spring/summer, brick walkways, the fountain, and charming iron gates, perfect for a classic and elegant vibe.

2. Odiorne Point State Park – Rye, NH

Odiorne Point is just south of Portsmouth, this park has everything you would want for your senior session: ocean views, rocky shores, woodsy trails, and old WWII ruins that can add a unique and dramatic flair to your senior session.

3. Benson Park – Hudson, NH

Benson Park is one of my personal favorites because of its versatility with scenic trails, a pond, old stone structures, park benches and even whimsical elements like a castle-style bridge. Great for nature lovers or a senior looking for a one fits all location.

4. Mack’s Apples – Londonderry, NH

Mack’s Apples is the definition of a classic New England apple orchard with rolling fields, apple trees with blossoms in the spring and beautiful tree colors in the fall, and gorgeous sunsets. Perfect for fall or spring senior portraits and those looking for a relaxed and rustic vibe. Note this location requires a $50 fee to shoot on property, added to your session package when you book.

5. Wagon Hill Farm – Durham, NH

This location is iconic to locals for it’s wagon perched on the hill overlooking Durham, NH. Wagon Hill farm is a charming location and open to the public for photography sessions from dawn to dusk and is perfect for your senior session. If you are looking for rolling fields, wide open fields, and gorgeous golden hour sunsets then this is the location for your NH senior session!

6. Echo Lake – Franconia Notch State Park

Right in the center of Franconia Notch and surrounded by the ski slopes of Cannon Mountain, this lake offers clean and clear lake water, a dramatic backdrop of the White Mountains, and lush greener in summer, and a colorful scene of trees in Fall, it’s perfect if you’re looking for your senior portraits to be in the White Mountains.

7. Fields of Lupines – Sugar Hill, NH (June)

Only in early summer in NH, Sugar Hill blooms with stunning purple lupines. Typically the season is only in the first half of June making it a tight window for those perfect for that summer senior session in the White Mountains. Pairing this special season with mountain views and rustic barns makes this an amazing location for magical senior portraits.

8. The Basin – Lincoln, NH

The first exit in Franconia Notch and an underrated spot is The Basin! It’s cascading water, smooth granite formations, and shaded trails are the perfect backdrop for a fall or summer senior session in NH. Great for an adventurous senior looking for a woodsy and natural vibe.

9. White Park – Concord, NH

This spot is a local favorite because of the wide open feel, stone bridges, beautiful paths with willow trees, and a picturesque pond right in the center of the park. It’s especially stunning in the late spring and fall when the greens of spring and foliage explodes with color making the perfect variety for classic New England senior portraits.

10. Carter Hill Orchard – Concord, NH

Another classic senior portrait spot in NH is Carter Hill Orchard. It’s a great fall location with apple trees, mountain views, and even a lookout tower. It’s also known for it’s amazing golden hour light, rustic barns, and wide-open spaces.

11. Squam Lake – Holderness, NH

Another one of my favorite places for senior pictures in NH is the squam lakes region! It’s known for breathtaking dockside portraits, mountain reflections on the lake, and gorgeous golden-hour lake light. Being a local my whole life l know lots of access points and the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is always a great option for that woodsy and lake-town feel.

12. The Common and Plymouth State University Campus – Plymouth NH

Another favorite having gone to college there is Plymouth State University! Their campus is perfect for grad sessions or local senior portraits. It is the perfect small-town New England backdrop. Campus has beautiful builds like Rounds Hall and Mary Lyon Hall. The cobblestone walkways and old trees are ideal for seniors wanting a blend of elegant and casual vibes in nature.

13. Cate Park & Carry Beach – Wolfeboro NH

Downtown Wolfeboro NH has charming shops, features Cate Park which has historic vibes making this a great blend of urban and natural for seniors who want a small-town aesthetic. Just a short ride down the road is Carry Beach as well which overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee and is the perfect backdrop for seniors looking for lake senior portraits in NH!

14. Meredith Town Docks & Sculpture Walk – Meredith, NH

Meredith is a historic town that blends local art, views of Lake Winnipesaukee, and charming town aesthetics with perfect sidewalks and a boardwalk. The flower gardens along the boardwalk, and boutique backdrops combined with a dreamy golden hour makes this location amazing.

15. The Castle in the Clouds – Moultonborough, NH
